It's here! It's here! It's finally here! :thumbup:

I've seen it, I've touched it! Joining the stable tomorrow is a Space Grey 135i with Sunroof, new iDrive with Logic 7, F/R PDC, electric folding door-mirrors, Steptronic and Walnut trim. The last two options was so I could remain an honourary member of the fuddy-duddy club.

There's been many sleeps since June 15, but tonight will be the hardest. My full story is here:

Hey, my mirrors fold ... oh wait ... they only do that if I twist them manually. Doh. At least the passenger mirror automatically looks down when reversing. That's nice. Didn't stop "someone" in our family from kerbing a rear wheel though.

Have fun with the delivery tomorrow Sprey. I loved the look of Cameron's Space Grey 135i Coupe on Sunday. I'm sure you'll be delighted with your new toy.

I would say that's a definite, unless you have a lot of dealer fitted or aftermarket options. At least at my dealer, their orders have been physically received and they would be keen to deliver and free up their cash flow.

So, how is your car optioned and coloured?

Thanks - same to you! My dealer told me my car was only invoiced on Monday and was hoping to get delivery yesterday...

Coupe - Jet Black, Beige interior, grey polar, Sunroof, Logic 7, Heated Seats and Comfort Access.

Getting the dealer to tint the windows too so that may hold it up a day...

Here are pictures as promised - it got a bit late into the day so I apologise for the 'greyness' :biggrin: Of course I had to bring it home to a thunderstorm!

Gumball, I think you have a good chance as long as the Window Tinters don't delay you. Maybe tell the dealer you're rather bring it back another day for tinting instead of missing out on your car this weekend.

I'll post my initial thoughts on my car soon. Too early to call after just 20 kms!

Congratulations... love the colour combo... mind you I am baised as we own its twin....love the way space grey changes with in different light .. and as for keeping the wheels clean....well lets just say that is an ongoing battle..

My car was the first space grey E82 I've seen in the flesh, and so far, I can say it looks nice with water beads from the ensuing storm after I picked up my car! Up till now Cam2801, I've just been reviewing pictures of yours! :eyebulge:

As for wheels, I've been testing the much touted Armorall Wheel Protector on my other cars and I must tell you, it does indeed solve the brake dust problem. On my E32 cross-spokes, it still looked silver (not grey or black) after 3 weeks, not 3 days.

Only issue is, good luck finding a stockist! It must be very popular...
