Bimmerfest 2009 135i Poster Giveaway. Free to Bimmerfest attendees!

We will be displaying our BMW 135i race car at Bimmerfest 2009 in the HP Autowerks booth. We did another rig shot of the car to show off the new graphics scheme for the 2009 season and the shoot turned out so good that we decided to turn it into a poster! We will hand out over 3000 posters at the Bimmerfest event for free to anyone who stops by the booth.

The sponsors on the poster helped to pay most of the printing costs so we really owe it all to them. D-Force wheels should also be mentioned here, but Enkei supplied us with the wheels for the shoot.

The photo was taken using the new Canon 5D, Automotive Rigs.com camera rig setup, and some nice post editing by Nice Design. If you guys want to learn how to shoot cars and do these motion shots. The photographer just published a book on shooting cars. A $16 investment in a book will teach you how to use that $2000 camera to its full potenital.

I think I saw you guys. You had the LOL's on the cars right? hahaha. We had a great time at the show. The weather was PERFECT. The venue was sublime except for the horse crap smells emanating from the grass.

We just put them up on the site. We're selling them at charity prices of $5 shipped for one poster. It will ship in a cardboard poster tube, won't fold it up in an envelope.

It's a fantastic shot and my new wallpaper. Just love it. Kinda regret it's in motion, as I love the look of those wheels at a standstill.

This may be a dumb question, but... Why is it better to shoot with the rig, as opposed to shooting from the back of another car, like a convertible, for instance?
