Totally understand this thinking. I can say that we'll corrupt you guys yet, once we start posting our driving impressions.

Oh, I know that when the dealer by me starts getting 135is in I will have to go down and drive one. Then things will really start to get confusing. Hopefully the 135i will feel like silly puddy in my hands and I will never have to entertain thoughts of a change. But I think the chances of that happening are thin...

Let us wait M...let us wait. I can see why those that already bought their are rebuking/denying it. I'm going to drive a 335i/535i next weekend at a BMW event to relight my N54 flame though...

I'm just not gaga over that new M3, especially compared to a 135.

Those are some very high quality shots there, lovely photo's! With all the fan-fare around Sedona Red I think Crimson Red absolutely dusts it. Of course I'd never buy a red car, but it looks great! And as for the M3; If only I had the money, and it wouldn't be going towards to coupe or the drop top.

Gorgeous pictures Gabe. So what do you think: is the 135i good enough to persuade you to trade in the R56? I am extremely interested to hear what your thoughts are on the car.

The 135i is.... (deep breath).... incredible. I put 300 miles on two of them today on some of the best roads CA has to offer and can't stop thinking about it all. As much as I loved the M3 yesterday, the 135i is, well.... fun.

Damn it! I was hoping you would say it was down right awful so that I wouldn't miss out on anything.

I think you need to let the dust settle a bit, grasshopper. You've got a car you're obviously proud of, as you should be. If a focussed performance variant is what you're waiting for, and you're still entertained by your current car, I'd wait it out. Nothing shittier than landing a new car only to have the variant you really wanted announced 3 months later... The Tii prototype is the closest we'll get to hints of a performance model until the 135i has made it's splash in the market. Wait six months and see what happens...

I've gotta wait 18-24 months before I can get mine, so please devote your energy to my plight...
