BMW driving course

I will be doing the Intensive and M dynamic courses in Phillip Island first week of February 2010 and was hoping other 1Addict members could join.

If we can get some numbers, we would qualify for group discounts.

Cheers!

Gents - we have 3 booked in for the courses - 3 more to go (although I think with Dr BMW we actually have 4 booked in... which means 2 more for the discount Basically means that your flights or accomodation are paid for!

Woot woot!

Yes the M Dynamic is the new version of Fascination. $1900 isn't cheap - but heck - once in a lifetime type experience!

Ummmm, for $1900 you could rent a race car for a weekend (for either race or sprints meeting) and do around 30 to 50 flying laps of Phillip Island where your speed is limited only by your ability and the car's top speed.

I'm all for blowing cash on automative things, but I've long moved on from driver training for track thrills, where your speed is determined by the "pace car" and your going slow enough that they will happily put witches hats around the circuit. Much better value and thrills to be had by getting in a real race car. Learn more too! But each to their own.

M Dynamic is the old Perfection course and is vastly different from Fascination which was a 2 day course in M's with personal tuition from Geoff, held at EC or PI only.

That said the M Dynamic will teach you heaps but I'd recommend you do a skid pan day or two prior so you can maximize your fun

It sucks big time that they are not running fascination anymore but I believe there is a growing que of people that have done the perfection course and want them to run fascination again.

WOPALX - my bad - got them mixed up.

Either way - glad that I can enjoy the time down in PI.

Aussie - didn't realise that was possible - now that I know.... hmmm might be an option later in the year!

+1. $1900 can get me racing in the ATC next year all cost included.

Damn I had no idea the fascination course was so expensive. Brisbane BMW actually offered me this course for free about 2 years ago but I could not make it at that time
