after sorting out the last little noises in the suspension I love my car again! success!! If it makes me faster........even better. I figure out that I cannot get as much camber on the passenger side as I can on the driver side, but I might try to file that down. Still need alignment, but I am headed to the us open tomorrow so that will have to wait!!

I spent most of yesterday laboring (pun intended) on my 128i. Wash/clean/wax the body and wheels. The Black Sapphire Metallic really looks spectacular in the sunlight.

I cleaned a few areas of the leather, like the driver's seat bolster, with Zymol Leather Cleaner, and then treated all of the leather with Zymol Leather Conditioner. The coral red looks brighter, so it must have gotten a little dry over the last year. I also treated the dash, console, and remainder of the door panels with the Leather Conditioner. It is probably not the best product to use on vinyl, but it has a little less gloss than some other products I have used, so it looks great.

I found a piece of gasket material from the retrofit inside of the backup light. Next time it is back at the dealer I will insist that they take the tail light apart and remove it.

The engine is still spotless. Just a little dust, sand, and leaf debris to clean up.

Overall it was a really pleasant way to spend the last day of summer.

I forgot to add that I put Gummi-Pflege rubber treatment on all of the gaskets.

I am getting a film on the inside of the glass that is tough to clean. The dealer said that the interior parts are still offgassing. After a year?

yep, bum shock. New shock in the mail. This might end up with me at a hotel parking lot changing shocks the night before a autocross, lol.

So I brought my car in for service yesterday. A few things actually. Seat belt recall, oil change, 3rd brake light replacement, and hopefully a new clear bra. I called the company that put on my clearbra and so far they seem to not want anything to do with warranty replacements. My issue with mine is it's starting to peel on my hood and is hazy/cloudy on the lower passenger side of my bumper.

On the better note, I got a E92 328i Xdrive for a loaner car. I must say having awd is a lot of fun! Granted the car isn't too powerful, it makes up for it in traction. I can floor it all the time and not worry! It's also fun going fast through puddles on this rainy day today! If I had a family, and that's a BIG IF, I'd have to trade in the 1er for a E92 335i Xdrive!
