Reprogramming

Hey everyone,

I was curious as to how I could program or have my car programmed to close the side mirrors when it is locked as well as close the windows and sunroof when i hold down the lock as well. I know that the mirrors are possible because I've seen it working on another 135i and the windows and sunroof I don't see why it would be an issue since i am able to do the opposite when I hold down the unlock button.

Thanks

It seems like closing the windows and sunroof are possible, but not available in the US, because of some regulation or another. I want to say that Euro owners have this option, and there are people in the US (not at the dealership) who can program it for you. Like Kramer's cable guy; the one who escaped from the Gulag. They'll even slow down your gas meter.

Don't know about the mirrors, though.

it is called: coding

IF you have the folding motors in your mirrors, then yes you can have them coded to do so.

It is all in the SW coding. That is how BMW does it for one car to work one way(USA) while ECE cars work/opperate a different way. Coding.

Just found this old post... I had Thorsten in Munich code my car (www.car-coding.de) but I remembered (and saved) this old thread of what is "possible"... Btw you can also have the M3 digital speedo also coded on our cars: "V = kph or mph"
