Can 135i vert close roof with remote in Australia

Hi just recently got a 2008 135i vert and was wondering if you can close the roof with the remote, i can open the roof and windows but so far havnt been able to work out how to close it.

The BMW website (Australia) specifications say open/close convertible roof via remote. It also says this on the specifactions list in classified adds.

So if anyone can let me know if there is a way to do it would really appreciate it, thanks.

hold the lock button down or click the lock button twice and hold it down on the second click. I had an '10 3 series convertible for a while and you could open/close the roof via the remote by doing the above

Thanks for your reply, I have tried that, pressing lock once and holding, pressing lock twice and holding and nothing happens.

You might want to check the OBC to see if you need to select on option enabling this?

Not sure, just thinking it might be the case.

nothing i can see in the obc that will let me do it, although i havnt had the car long so maybe im missing something or maybe it just cant be done. it would be interesting to see if there is anyone on the forum with a vert that has got there roof to close with remote, and wether they have an 08 or a different model. Thanks.

You need Comfort Access to close the roof remotely..I think..

Without 'Comfort Access' you can open the roof using the remote by holding the unlock button down till the roof fully cycles.

However you can only close it with the interior roof button.
