That is, 10K until your oil change. Not oil change at 10K miles.

The numbers will continue to drop until it's time, then they reset it.

I believe it means 10K _more_ miles till service, not service at 10K miles.. How many miles do you have on your car?

That is correct. Mine says 8K to go. I currently have 10,965 miles.
