Anyone received Riss Catted DPs yet?
I pre-ordered the coated, catted DPs in early May. Was wondering if anyone on the pre-order list has received theirs yet. I have the BMW Performance Exhaust sitting in my garage, and I am trying to decide whether to wait for the DPs to arrive before installing the exhaust.
If you have gotten your Riss catted DPs, please drop me a note!

Good news! Anthony Riss called me back within 15 minutes to let me know that the catted DPs are done and shipping next week. I will post a review of quality and fit as soon as I have a chance to pop them on my 135i.

One side note: I have purchased a couple of things from Riss and they are always extremely responsive to questions and requests. On that basis alone, I am a fan. Can't wait to see how the catted DPs turn out!

I'll be sure to post up a review once mine's installed as well, we all know that they will likely knock our socks off though lol.

Yes we had to make a minor change that set us back a little bit. I have driven with them on my car for quite a while now and it feels very strong, and we have no CEL. We have sound clips/pics of them installed now as well. I will post these all up Monday. In the commercial section. Thanks!

Install now! hehe. I see that you are in SF, it'd be great to have you drop by our shop down here in Santa Clara when you get these installed. I will most likely be doing the same upgrade for my 135 this fall/winter.

Riss Racing catted DPs went on my April-build 135i last night. YRMV, but my ass felt car's pull improve from 2K to 5K rpm. In fact, gain felt in the neighborhood of what I experienced when I added the SSTT. Quality was excellent and they installed without a hitch.
After a couple of hours of driving the above, I had the BMW Performance Exhaust installed. The sound is fantastic, with little or no noticed performance improvement. At idle, there is almost no increase in loudness, although the pitch is lower. Under normal driving, you can hear a bit more of the motor, again at a deeper, more rumbling note. And, under spirited driving, the DP+exhaust combo rasps perfectly--much nicer sound than most of the tuned Japanese stuff I see on the West Coast. It is hard to describe, but the combo just sounds more like a professional race car and less like a cheap two-stroke in pain. Finally, after driving the pipe combo for several hours today, I installed the Sprintbooster. I will review that in the Sprintbooster section shortly.
