I've seen people selling the DCT paddles for $150 for both. If you are interested check the forums/ebay.

I've been thinking about this all day, and I think I will go for the Yellow strip one. Reasons :
- White stitching will match my other stuff
- The DCT paddles from what I've seen cost 300$ minimum, I have no issues with standard peddles functionality. I could save the money and buy LCI blackline tail lights later.
- I will keep my existing steering wheel, and do something special with it down the line.

Now anybody has part number for that alacantra cleaner?

I prefer the M trim. having that piece in alcantara may be too much of a good thing.

Yea... I like the M trim too. I have it with/on my M3 wheel.

PS: Mohammed I think you should also wrap your speedo/instrument hood with Alcantera too - to give your car that extra touch. ala 1M look.

Ya I was gonna say do the m wheel trim. I did the alcantera trim with my m3 wheel because t think it contrasts good together and matched the shift knob and boot. But if I had done the alcantera perf wheel that would have been too much.

Thanks for all the advice. I'm going to go for the M3 wheel.

How long should this take to fit?

Went to the dealer today, and they said to order it I have to buy at least 3; as when they order it they have to order a minimum of six and nobody is going to buy the rest if I only get one. Anyway its good that I know I will have another 3 spare when my first three finish

Anybody has an idea on how frequent one should spray this stuff?

It's extremely easy to swap the steering wheel yourself, it only takes about 5 minutes. Here you go:

Depends how much you drive. I wouldn't over use the product, maybe every couple months?

Took me 30 min to swap my wheel. This vid is very helpful for removing the airbag. If you look In the DIY section that guy Andy has a thread called remove and install the steering wheel trim. That will show you how to swap multi function buttons. Very simple tho. Just 3 screws holding the trim in and 1 screw on each side for multi function buttons.

My dealer is the same way. When I order "nuts and bolts" or any type of fastener... they make me buy 10 pieces, bc bmw sends them ten bolts(or what have you). So they make me buy ten bolts/nuts/fasteners.

The only good thing is that fasteners cost so little in Germany... like 0.30 euro cents per nut. In the states they would charge you $3 each!

Maybe you can sell the other "extra" cleaners to a fellow 1Addict.

I'm guessing same thing for the paddles? Will have a look at those threads

Thought I would share the current state of my steering wheel. I still can't figure out why the trim blistered like that, anybody has any ideas? Would love to avoid this happening to the new one.

Also replacing the buttons since the color is gone on volume button and light comes through the corners.
