Michelin PS/2 ZP 225/45/17 Discontinued?

Gary@TireRack , it looks like this size is on closeout at Tire Rack. Will they be gone forever? I have a pair on the back, but would like the same on the front eventually. I still have 7/32 up front...Great tires, especially for run-flats.

Yes, sadly the 225/45R17 PS2 ZP is being permanently discontinued, sorry. We still have some left in stock so if you anticipate a need in the near future you may not want to wait.

How does Tire Rack's "Road Hazard Protection" work when you can't get exact replacements anymore?

The Road Hazard company will cut you a check for the original purchase price of the tire, regardless of the inventory status of that tire.
