Kobe's 1/4 mike times 128i

Hello everyone so I decided to to go to the drag strip track tonight with a few friends. I figured why not lol I just picked her up and it's her first time in the US besides the UK and Germany. I can say I whoop the stock 135i three times lol we are both stock. And got videos and will post later but that's not the point of this thread lol.
-Car information
Stock n52
Euro box
Disa manifold- no tune at all right now.
Stock headers
Stock at exhaust
Sunroof
Electric heated seats.
6spd.

I ran 5 times today with very consistent times 14.5 at 96mph.

Times were

1/4---14.5679
Mph---96.22
RT-----.6052

1/4--14.5987
Mph--96.61
Rt---.5006

1/4--14.5578
Mph--96.15
Rt--.6273

1/4--14.5654
Mph--96.75
Rt--.6757

1/4--14.5359
Mph--96.53
Rt--.5901

I haven't seen on of these threads started so I figured we could get one going and gather more info on mods related to real world times instead of dynos.

That's really impressive! I bet you could easily run late 13's with a proper tune. What tyres/diameter are you running as they help a lot too?

I'm out at lunch don't have the slips with me but I'll upload them tonight. I think they were 2.300 something not that great.

Also take into account weight, I took my 130 over the scales (with me in it) for a raceweight of 3402 lbs (verified accurate on WSID racescales). If you can take your 125 over the scales when you do scrutineering (lane 1) and take a photo. Just ask the ANDRA official to turn the scales on.

My passes in the 130

My wife's passes in the 130 on an even hotter day
And another

my mate runs a 600bhp sierra cossy on those in the rear don't know what brand of tyre though, he told me that tire wall length is more important than tire width in drags but none the less great consistency

Okay guys drag strip round two im addicted lol. I'll post slips and exact times tomorrow but I just want to say I ran 14.2 two times then a 14.3. Got videos coming soon. Mods are the same expect I have a muffler delete with a xpipe and I took out my rear seats. Still no tune or headers. I want those so bad so I can run 13s already! Keep in mind this isn't for everyone lol. I'm a very consistent driver and a good one. I out drive a lot of people! All my cars have been stick shift.

WOW! Impressive! Launch technique? Keep posting them up, though I think this would get more traffic on E90post.

Impressive and consistent times! I love the enthusiasm for your 128i. I wish I was more mechanically skilled to work and modify my car. All i can do is drive well and retrofit headlights...

Garage List
Good effort, but 2.2 60ft is far from good driving.. keep practicing and you'll get down to 1.xx eventually to hit a 13

I shall post it there tomorrow when I have time. I'm about to post the time slips now for proof that I actually did run these times.
