Paint damage after buffing?
Hi all,
Last time I took my car in for service, they scratched my car so I complained and they buffed my car for me. I noticed the paint was uneven around the area they buffed, but I thought that was just wax. But after a couple of car washes, the paint is still uneven (if you know what I mean) can this happen by buffing or did they sand my car too? Anything I can do to remove it? (not sure if it's in or on paint) Thanks |

time to go to a pro and stop dealing with amateurs.
I would contact the shop that did the damage and tell them you want them to pay for the paint repairs from a shop of your choosing. |

Sounds like they might have tried to sand out the scratch and were not able to properly remove the sanding marks. Not sure how deep they went on the sanding, but it might not be the end of the world. Call a professional detailer and have him/her look at it. If it's just on one panel, this could be a 30 minute job to make it look perfect again.
