Direct Ignition Coils vs Standard Ignition Coils
I'm ordering coils for my car. Last time I bought Direct Ignition coils for $46/each. But now I'm showing on the same website (partsgeek.com) that they have "Ignition Coils" for my car (2008 135i coupe) for $40 as well as the Direct ones.
What's the difference? Can I buy the cheaper ones or do I have to use the Direct Ignition coils? Thanks! Both look like the right one, but the part numbers are different. It'd be hard to say, I'd call Bosch and see if their part number on the sites match or cross reference BMW's part number for it which is #12137594937.
http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...17&hg=12&fg=05 I found them on amazon with the BMW part number cheaper they're sold in a set of 6. http://www.amazon.com/Piece-Bosch-Ig...ds=12137594937 |
