This looks way better than this one, but the sides are still kind of awkward. Don't get me wrong though....miles ahead of this other one.

it would look much better if the kit was moulded onto the body. In the photos it looks like they didn't mould it all the way around, leaving the creases.

Hi!

The kit was only designed for racing by a friend of mine.
Base is a E82 with an M3 V8. He is working on this project since spring 2010.
I think the design+car will be gorgeous!

Do you mean the diffusor or the air vents of the wheel housing?

The kit shown on the OP painted SGM looks inexpensive and poorly done. Poor fit of the hood and the rear is just bad. The slots behind the rear wheel look haphazard and the fact that the whole thing is one piece (no seperate rear diffuser) just looks cheap. I also don't understand what was gained in the rear. It looks like a square set up.
The rear on the white care is much better.

Ah, my mistake. I meant the vents behind the wheels. Even some mesh would help but the fact that you can clearly see through the entire bumper to the tires looks kinda stupid.

The first link looks better than the two linked pictures after it. Maybe its the pictures but the back end looks flimsy to me

I thing Motorsport24 did a quite frouzy job....
I also wonder where they got the forms from?!
Tom (the guy with the E82 GTS) designed the bodykit many months before!

On his car the clearance is much better.

I agree on the rear wheel housings. There might be some room for improvements. I don't know about the exact aerodynamic function, but maybe the design can be improved a little bit A mesh is coming up there, as I know so far

But again, this kit was only designed for racing...so form follows function

Well, right. But I've seen plenty of "race cars" that are still nice to look at
