jb+

i got the piece, i couldnt get the clip to pop open but wat the hell. So I watched the video which kinda helped me a little. Any who concerning the tune, I love it; theres Lots of reasons why before i begin let me say this. " I wish this car came like this, I love my berk race exhuast sound with this tune its just so perfect. It sounds like perfection now. Hows it hold up i read some where that the rev's hold up better" thats a 100% correct the revs hold perfect. Off the line is were the biggest noticeable difference is. I know a lot of people write reviews but heres a sheer power test review. Ok let me tell you 0-60 BIG DIFF... 1/4 FAST.... After that its just GOOD not crazy anymore. I see this useful for people who hit the track alot with lots of turns and people who like balanced power. Deffenately feel the HorsePower better in higher speeds up top. The Toruqe kinda like pins you head back, And then all of sudden look down and say man already I gotta brake.... I gotta say its so worth it; What i love about the car the most now is just how darn fast it is. For any one who Bought heatedseats, For anyone who bought the M package, For anyone who bought any dumb trinkit for this car and doent buy this i really gotta say WTF! lol. For those of you who get it You willl loveee it =D)D)D)D)D))D)D)))D)D)D) Idk if it deletes de limits the car but i could of swore i crossed 160 must look into that one. reedit later =op

That was hard to read... I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you wrote that on your phone.

I've hit an indicated 160 mph, and I'm 100% stock. From what I understand, it has to due with the speedo being (intentionally) off at higher speeds.

I got mine yesterday. My car is stock and I also left the JB+ how it came (for now). The hardware itself is so easy to install I was thinking "seriously - that was too easy, this better work...".

I drove to the gas station to fill up, I use 93 Octane here in STL. I was at first slightly disappointed with the changes. I could tell that it did something, but not a whole lot. I got gas and drove back to work.

At this point it was already starting to feel much better. This time on the drive back to work I could definitely tell changes were taking place. More power, more torque, STILL smooth.

After work I took a 20 mile joy ride. I noticed the more I drove it the better it felt. Throttle response is better, and just even cruising around (not flooring it) seemed like less of an effort for the car.

I'm fairly impressed at what Terry has accomplished with the JB+ so far. I've only had it for one day, and I've already told friends that it was totally worth it.

Now, I do have to say that my previous car was a tuned STI. This does not have the throttle response or slam you in the face torque as that did. But I honestly cant complain. This German driving machine is much more refined than the subaru ever was.

1) adaptation takes time.
2) 50% is great
3) 100% is #2 x 2

Loved mine but had an opportunity to upgrade to a JB3 and it has even more than #3.

Its a matter of how far you want to go. I used the JB+ at 50% for nine months, went 100% for 9 months and then made the leap to a JB3. At no time did I not enjoy the JB+
in my daily driving.

Glad you like it! The RPM holding was from my post I actually started mine at two notches up from 50%, and it was awesome... then I went back down to 50% for a few days and it was so so... I'm going back up. The more you drive the better it gets. Enjoy!

Yeah, I'm going to go back up to 2 or maybe even 3 notches to 75% and see how that is. But yeah, 2 notches up from 50% was a lot faster.

Yes, you have to take out the two screws and open it up. I haven't had any problems yet. If I do I will let you guys know, but it shouldn't be an issue especially if you have the CAN tool.

So today i drove another 250 miles on some of the finest turns around 5mph 10mph 15mph 20mph turns over 100 of these and what i have to say is with Jb+ drifting is fun the extra power is also good when coming out of bends. Also with traction off its quite fun if you know how to drive=)

improvements are as follows, I like how the rpms hold when going around turns, I like how extra power helps you out of turns. I like how 60-130 theres a very noticeable difference in power. After hours of geting on it hard seems to me that dct and the car held up well, Checked my oil levels, a ok, crazy brake dust but its quite the norm. The extra power didnt kick in right away it takes like 5 10mins of driving thats what i feel. And the exaust notes get crisper and more exotic.
