Performance Stripes on a 1M

Hi guys,

has anyone here put on the Gloss Black Performance stripes offered by BMW dealers now that are a direct descendant of the design used in the BMW 1 series tii concept car a couple of years ago? (see pic)

I have a VO car modded with gloss black grilles and glossy black rims. i wonder how these stripes with go with the two mods and the orange paint. Any opinions? sorry i'm clueless with photoshop otherwise i would put up a picture here...

Dont like this at all, looks real naff. Why would you want to put this on your car? It looks like they thought about this for 10 mins when they designed it.

BMW failed big time with their Performance stripe offering IMO, especially the tri-color ones. They should have just not deviated from Jon Sibal's crafty rendering, to me that continues to be the best looking design for this body.
