Usually, I rent a car for road trips, but I'm so far ahead (behind?) on lease mileage ...

ahhh....el capitan. still one of my favorite places here in the USA.

the only thing better in that locale would be the convertible...

IMO road trips are something this car does fantastically. Its comfortable enough for the long highway stretches but still amazingly fun for the backroads and has more than enough space for 2 for a long getaway.

Twisties must be fun up there. Agreed ^^^ Convertible would've been much fun.
