Thats funny because I used to be in IT. I was a network admin in the Air Force and then I did Unix Sys Admin work for an NSA crypto program. I still really enjoy computer work, but decided to make a career change half way through grad school.

Nice wheels. I'm considering these for my 325i. They look HOT on red.

You can find this store on ebay, they have quite a few listings including these wheels.

Nice wheels, have fun while you can in Europe, my time here has gone by very fast, I'm happy to say my car has driven all over Italy and beyond.

Low profile tires and no sport package gives the car a rather unusual stance. You should see his car once he installs the suspension upgrade.

Koni Sport Shocks (in the mail)

Do the replica wheels have different offsets from the OEM M5 wheels?

I hope I can explain this correctly, but the middle part of the wheel, the hub, looks a little "pushed out" in relation to the rest of the wheel... if you compare it to pics of the M5, the OEM ones look like they have more of a "dish" or the middle of the wheel is more indented.

I'm not sure about this, however, because other pictures of E90's with supposedly OEM M5 wheels have the same problem.

Could it just be tires that are too skinny for the wheels?

Fantastic combination, red with M5 rims is what I'd also be looking to do if I get an E90 soon, except I wound't drop the height, 'cos everyday driving in London is an obstacle course

Great job!

You wouldn't have to do anything else to the stock 330i. The only consideration would be that your shocks would have a shorter life due to always traveling outside of their optimal range.

I do not know if the offset is the same. If they are, I would just spring for the real m5 wheels. The pictures do not really show how inset the middle hub is. The wheel really comes out from the middle to the outside. They do look just like the M5 wheels that I saw on a BMW showroom the other day.
