Sorry Guys, my bad.
29yo/65% NCB/Sydney Inner west (Burwood)/ Looking for full comprehensive insurance for a 135i I've searched on the forum, what confused me was that there were many posts suggesting $1000-$1500. I've just been quoted a couple and they were all close to $3k. Thanks |

Throttle Burwood is quite expensive as far as car insurance goes in Sydney..
My bro just moved from Burwood to Concord and his premiums dropped by about 30%.. I am at Rhodes (48yr old 60% NCB/ no under 40 drivers) and my premium for the vert $1485.... ( Vert insured for $92K) |

If I tell them I have comfort access, the insurance premium jump from $1200 to $1500.

Throttle, when is your B'day? Buy your car next year! Seems to be being >30yo may make a difference too...
Just make sure you compare excesses. NRMA here tried to convince me that they can match a competitors quote but I would have to opt for a higher excess. They must think I missed maths in school... I fired them. |

The cheapest quote I got was from actually BMW itself. Their quote was over $1000.00 cheaper for me than NRMA. The Underwriter is Zurich. When I get my car I am going to go with BMW Insurance. Does anyone else use them?

I have been using BMW insurance for all my past cars except this time..
BMW was about $550 more expensive than GIO for some reason this time.. Even the finance gal at the dealership tried to get a lower premium for me with BMW but they where way out of the ball park this time round..:iono: |

As per the other BIG thread, Ryno Insurance Services got (and gets) my money. Excellent service and a good premium price. Let's hope I never need to test it out!

Simple message Throttle is that you have to shop around. Most insurers have online quotation systems so it shouldn't take you long to find the best for you. Try fiddling with different options to see what differences they make. I'm with Allianz.
