Done a search, haven't found anything! Just a quick question...

I am planning to purchase eibach springs for my 135i, however...is it mandatory to switch out the struts? Or are the eibachs not that aggressive?

In my opinion the damping rates on the OE struts are too soft to start with, so going with a shorter, stiffer spring will only make matters worse.

Not necessarily, you would have to change it out later one anyways due to pre-mature wear of the shocks with the addition of aftermarket lowering springs; you will be ok for the time being.

If you are looking into changing shocks just to get it done with, I suggest taking a look at the KONI FSDs or KONI Sport Adjustable Yellows.
