Technical N55 vacuum question

I've been reading and trying to understand the boost control on the N55 and have a question. Does anybody know if the vacuum accumulator (used by the boost pressure converter) is separated from the vacuum chamber for the crankcase ventilation system? These appear to be both built into the cylinder head cover and I'm curious if they are interconnected in either way. Thanks
