Dont know the guy, but this thing is about 14 bucks shipped to me. So I think I will buy one since its been a few times where I've needed multiple 12V plugs and dont have them due to the fact that I removed the ash tray...

you can buy one at a BMW dealership for $8.50 NO SHIPPING AND TAKE IMMEDIATE DELIVERY......I did.

Yeah I got mine from Pacific for $6 as well.

I'm sure if you go to your local dealer you can get it for no more than $9

Yes. I deleted my ashtray in favor of the sunglass holder and now run power for my Garmin 360 from the glove box. I just close the door on the wire.

I got this also and ran my MP3 Aux wire from my armrest to my glovebox. Now it can play and charge at the same time.
