Waxyol treatments????????????

Hi everyone.

Anybody know what this Waxyol treatment is like, my dealer has offered this to me for free on my new 135i.

Bit worried about them spoiling the original metallic paint, but I have heard that it gives great anti-scratch protection.

Cheers

Never heard of it. Is it a standard detail job, or did they say you would not have to wax the car for years after it was Waxyol'd??

Your better off detailing your car yourself and juse Zaino, or JetSeal on the paint.

I did a little reading and it seems that it is primarily used as an undercoat rust eliminator/inhibitor. I would say that if you are in an area where there is a lot of snow where the put salt down it may be a good choice.

Nothing added to the paint will last more than a few months in most cases.

Thanks for the replies folks. I am puzzled too. I'm going to ask for a data sheet before I decide what to do as the garage were not very clear.

They mentioned something like: applying something that opens the paint up, then polish in this special coating, then left to dry for a day!-Cant wash the car for two weeks then.

But it costs €350 to do so it must be something, no???

Sounds like, using Zaino etc, would be safer.

Anything good for the alloys while I'm asking?????

Cheers

Save your money and just get some Zaino, or even NXT 2.0. It sounds like its just some sort of razle dazle sealer there trying to sell you.

As I originally said they are offering this to me for free, I would never pay for it!!!!!
