M3 rear subframe bushings - advice for everyone
guys, if you haven't done this mod
GO AND DO IT!! my car is stock suspension wise, had only the M-package, 2010, no other handling mods i was tracking the car, did the camber pin mod, but still understeer understeer everywhere! after i have made the M3 rear subframe bushings conversion with same tire setup, same places, car just TIPS IN and HOLDS corner like a devil! this mod is a must for people who like to corner, and corner well! feel like my steering got sharper, front end grips more, no shaking mid corner of the car, no bobbling while drifting. this thing made a HUGE smile on my face! for anyone thinking about it, DO IT! its well worth it!

I have done something similar, I went with the powerflex inserts + toe arm powerflex bushings and for DD they slope in the rear is gone, now the rear is solid over bridge joints, bumps, etc. Like the OP says, improving the bushings is a very nice mod.
For track fans definitely the full M bushings will be better. |

I'm waiting for my RFT's to wear before I do this mod, this is my daily, is it worth doing M3 bushings on RFT's?

No the ride will be too hard. Wait until you switch to traditional tires and then switch the upper front links (tension rods) to M3 or Meyle HD too.

well, didnt have them on my RFTs
but i did have the next tire setup before Federal 595RS-R 255\35\18 rear Yokohama Advan ad08 225\40\18 front before the mod it was all understeer after the mod its allllllll grip! cant be too excited about this mod! by the way, ride quality did not change, if any, it just for better! instead of feeling like ace ventura[u2b] [/u2b] on some bumpy roads, the ride is much flatter now!
