Keeping the car inside for winter
Hi guys, I park my car inside my garage for winter and take it out for a spin now and then when roads are dry , I had a battery issue last year probably because the battery was not charge often enough, I had to replace it in spring time. Do you have suggestion for keeping the battery alive trough out the winter. I bought and intelligent charger this year that I hope will do the job, but don't know if I should hook it up directly on the battery or on the under hood pols . Thanks for your help

Under the hood is more convenient.

Thank you for your help, I will try it under the hood, I notice on the charger meter that the car shuts down everything electrical after a few minutes and charger stops at the same time . Don't know if the charger will restart automatically when needed . Something to find out ?

Ignorance is bliss. Cleaned and covered my 2008 135i several weeks ago in preparation for joint surgery. Sat that way for four weeks (w/no charger), started right up (orig battery).
