Carly: BT vs WiFi

Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere. Carly would seem to have Gen2 adapters for both BT and WiFi? Is one "better" than the other?

Also depending on which model you have (I have an E82) I am able to use a generic ELM 327 wifi adapter to do all my coding. It was roughly $20 compared to their adapter which is ~$80.

That appears to be the exact adapter I use. Never had a need for the cd and threw it away almost immediately. I have never had any issues using this adapter although i have yet to try coding Video In Motion as i have no need for this feature.
