Order info for LCI 1 series

Does anyone know when there will be ordering information available for the LCI 1 series?

Thanks!

This is exactly my question. I was so ready to pull the trigger to buy the 2011 128I but now I'm eager to wait and see the pricing and availability of the LCI.

Why not call BMW NA up and ask them? If not, send BMW AG (Leipzig) an email - they are quick in replying. I am sure someone will tell you.

I would suspect that the changes will take place in March builds. So that means you won't see those cars until May/June in the states.

do you think the same time frame would apply to Canada as well?

I don't know. I am just going from what I remember last year...

I bought my 2010 in January last year. I order the car on Dec 5th, car was built just before Christmas. Dealer got the car the first week in January, 2010.

last year in March there was some talk of some changes on the 2011 models. Free leather and USB/6FL and different suspension. I think it took a few months more, before ppl in the states got/confirmed those changes.

I would think the delivery time would be the same to either Canada or the USA. ???

Spoke to the dealer today. Looks like orders can be placed in Feb time frame. Production starts in March. Pricing for the car will be pretty much the same as 2011.

I have now cancelled my 2011 and will order the 2012.

The information I received from my CA was that the dealers should have ordering information by the week of January 17th if not a bit sooner. No guarantees but that's what he has been told.

OP - did you see the US pricing thread on the 1M. It listed SOP (start of production) for the 2012 M.Y. 1M as March, 2011. So... I think it is a safe bet that the LCI will begin in March builds onwards.
