<will pay entry and track insurance for anyone that want to let me co-drive their car so I don't have to tow my car a million hours south.

...I know it will never happen but it is worth a shot, I've got the itch bad this year and with no snow to drive in I am willing to take drastic measures

Whatever you guys call Advanced/Solo/A/Red/etc down south.

My advice for when you get there, buy a data acquisition system. Rarely do you get an instructor at that point that wants to push you to go faster so data is usually the only want to make yourself a more complete driver without hiring a private coach (even then they will want to use data). Then you can unlearn all the school lines and figure out what is the fast way around the track.

Thanks for the advice. I've started trying to use Harry's laptimer for now, figure once i get a dedicated track car i'll see about getting a better system Right now just use my DD for track time. My dad and I are restoring my grandfathers old gmc pickup as a tow vehicle and we have a trailer. Once the truck is done we're going to buy our track rat.

lol man... june! june-august at road A is horrible because the paddock is asphalt... that 98-100 temp glaring off the surface in the paddock w/ stupid atlanta humidity is a killer.. try and come in march or sept!

Possibly...the org I run with will be there then. They have a season pass thing I can buy that'll save me some $$ and they are there then. Find me a cheap event and I could probably make it though
