best headlight protector film, and DIY-able?
I'm looking for suggestions on which brand/vendor of headlight protectant film is the best. I've found several types, but I want something clear that'll protect the lenses. Not interested in colored tint.
I'm also wondering if it's possible to get a perfect install yourself, or if it's like tint/clearbra where you really need a skilled installer? Thanks for any ideas! |

We carry the Bimmian Headlight Protection Film which is LaminX based tint film. LaminX is one of the more respected brands on the forums so you should be happy with the quality and durability.

I'm a bit wary of bimmian stuff since buying a couple of poor quality items for my other bmw. I know the film is laminX brand but I'd want to see the quality of the cutouts before going for that.
Has anyone tried the thicker aerogard stuff (14 mil) from clearmask.com? Seems like they offer this thicker film for the lights only. Also, do the lights have to come out for this? Some of the patterns have 'tabs' which look like they need to be folded under. |

I have used Headlight Armor in the past and it is a great product.
