how you guys planning on tinting? niteshades spray / laminx ? where i stay (south africa) they only have the smoked laminx as seen here http://www.lamin-x.com/ any good? |

I hear lamin-x is hard to put on because you have to do it alone and they don't match the taillights correctly but im not 100% sure that's correct. Another bad part about lamin-x is it covers the whole taillights so you have to get rid of the film covering the white alone witch could be challenging I think, that's why i opted out of lamin-x but if you guys think differently let me know please.

you buy it in sheets and cut it down to size if i can recall correctly?
in south africa thats what everyone is doing as they dont sell the pre-cut ones here (unless you ship them in yourself) in which case it would be a simple measure and snip of the bottom section that would usually cover the white part of the light? |

Well you would need to measure correctly because there is still red under the white so you would have to cut out a perfect box shaped design to fit over the white but still over the red under it witch can get complicated.
