Oil Found In Intercooler
I was trying to swap my inter coolers with a friend who has a Anodized black inter cooler (Piping was different in the 135i, and the 335i on the Inter cooler to charge pipe area). While pulling the piping apart we noticed that both cars had oil in the piping/intercoolers (Enough to literally pour out of intercoolers, about a few ounces). Both of the cars have oil catch cans, and tuned with JB4.
I was thinking maybe it had something to do with my blown turbo, but his turbos are fine... So is this normal? I don't want my engine to hydro-lock in the future. |

FMICs collect tons of oil blow by, it's perfectly normal. Not the best thing on earth, but it's what our motors do..
