128i Xenon Upgrade?

I bought and installed some Umnitza Xenon lights with ballasts. Umnitza said they had installed lots of these and there are no problems. Well, now I have a feed back noise from my stereo. Not just while it's on, but all the time. It starts when I open the door, even before I start the engine. Xenon ballasts draw a huge load for half a second on warm up. I think it fried something somewhere in the 200 control modules of my car!

I'm real interested in the OEM route because I'd like to have Xenon headlights.
