DRLs are required in Canada, correct? If so, I assume this means you don't have the option to turn off the DRLs via the BC? If you don't, then coding changes are needed to get rid of them as far as I know.

You can turn your drl's on or off through the setup options on the dash or through idrive...at least here in the US.

The DEPOs do not do that. Only with the parking lights will you have them "On" with your "city lights". To get them on with nothing else would require either extra wiring or some reprogramming. I am sure AW128 (Dave) would know a little more as there was a thread circulating about it, but not sure what became of it.

What you want is to use the Depo AEs as the DRLs, if I'm not mistaken? This is supposedly possible via coding changes. I haven't attempted the coding change on my car, but I'll have a look through the coding to see if the proper lines exist.

I am seriously thinking buying new leds for the angel eyes.
I am not so sure how to insert those leds with the headlight is already installed on the car. My hand dont fit them inside to fit bulbs into those holes... any tips? |

Invest the time to take the headlights out!! I changed all the LEDs while the headlights were still installed, however, I had to use forceps and a dental mirror... it was just an ass pain. When you buy new LED bulbs, do NOT get the bulbs that forward fire... get the ones that someone linked in this thread that do side fire... otherwise, you'll get that crappy blob effect. |

Brother just got the Bavarian Exclusive DEPO projector headlights with the LS3 rings (220 LEDs) for his 2006 325. One picture is in direct sunlight and its ridiculously bright. The pics don't show up well on iPhone at night because they are too bright haha. But from start to finish of putting them on.
They should be coming out with a DEPO set with the LS1 rings soon... Eye candy -->
