BMW 135i Signature Exhaust - GEN II

The increase in piping size decreases back pressure allowing the 135i’s turbo charge to spool even faster resulting in increased horsepower and torque throughout the entire RPM range. Our engineering team also incorporated the Active Autowerke SIGNATURE MuffleR in this new GEN II to assist in reducing/eliminating drone in the BMW 135i exhaust even more than our previous GEN I. Manufactured from 100% polished 304 stainless steel, true bolt on system.

Does the new muffler take anything away from the sound/experience of the first gen? The first gen exhaust is probably my favorite sounding n54 exhaust. I loved mine. I've got quads now but if you make a quad sign me up!

Is less drone from the first gen. We incorporated a bigger muffler to give our customer less noise once they install it along with down-pipes.

Looks real pretty, looking forward to hearing it. I wish you had announced this before I ordered the PE exhaust. I am local to you guys and planned on taking a trip down there. Are you guys in need of any guinea pig cars? I have an N55 with less than 100 miles on the long block.

Sorry about that man, we've been developing it for a while but we wanted to do more R&D before we actually released the product. Feel free to come by the shop whenever you like we are always happy to welcome forum members/BMW enthusiasts in our shop. If you can; shoot me a PM before you head down that way I can make sure I'm available to give you a private tour of the shop when you arrive.

On another note I will keep your car in mind in case we ever need an N55 135i for some research.

Ok, sounds good. I will give you a heads up. I didnt realize you drove a 135 also. Didnt you have a black 5 series? I remember you from e90post.

Yeah, my 530i is missed

. But I'm enjoying my twin turboed convertible a lot more now...lol

Is the fitment better then gen I cuz I read that the fitment was off at times. The only reason I didn't buy it cuz it sounded great. Looking foward to this.

The fitment of the first one was fine, IMO, as long as you dialed it in. It was very adjustable. People ran into problems as far as it hanging too far to the left/right, but that could be rectified with moving the hangars themselves.

I really liked the gen1 but the drone was too much at times.

I CURRENTLY HAVE A GEN1 IN MY 135i N54 AND I HAVE NO ISSUES AT ALL. PERFECT FITMENT.

WHICH IS WHY THIS GEN-II MIGHT BE PERFECT FOR YOU. EVEN WITH THE DOWN-PIPES THE GEN-II EXHAUST HAS LESS DRONE THAN THE GEN-I.
