Moving to Huntsville

Anyone else here from the upper Alabama, west Georgia and lower Tenn area? How active is this area? What's it like for tracking our cars in this area? Looking forward to returning to the states..see you soon.

If you haven't noticed, there doesn't seem to be much going on in Alabama as far as 1's go. I'm in dothan (southeast corner on alabama/georgia/florida line), there are a good bit of cars in Columbus, GA.

Nice to see all you guys...well the 3-4 that responded...Frank..that's cool. How far is Valdosta?

So what if we met up in say Birmingham...would any of you be willing to roll over there? or is Atlanta better? I need to go to Atlanta sometime in the next 3 weeks to pickup my M from shipment....any of you guys in hot-lanta?

we should start planning a BMW event...at first it'll be small but as we get our photos out and some publicity, then it'll grow...fingers crossed.

There are a good bit of 1 series in Atlanta as well. I travel back and forth from Dothan to Atlanta just about every other weekend, so I'd be willing to meet up if we do something in Atlanta. I know every first Sunday of the month they have a big Caffeine and Octane meet in Alpharetta (bout 20 mins north of Atlanta). I went to the one in September and there were a ton of cars, I met up with two other 1 series and there was one more there.

I still have yet to see a 1M in person, so it'd be cool to meet up and check out your 1M.

Im way down the bottom of GA. Atlanta is about 3.5 north of me. There really isn't much car action, not like we were used to. I've only seen 4 other 1er's since I've been back stateside and only 2 in the area I'm in.
There is always the possibility for road trips to events though.
