MadDad(TM) EuroSport Street Series exhaust /black tips REVIEW
Hello to the whole community that is in this forum.
I have a 2010 135i. I have had it since october of 2009. Its an awesome car. After about four month of getting the car, I bought the AFE cold air intakes, they worked pretty nice for me and the sound they make is awesome. I have always wanted to put exhaust on the car but the ones it has are really nice. i also have the BME performance rear diffuser so since the hole is a little bit smaller than the stock plastic diffuser, i was scared an aftermarket exhaust wouldn't fit. Also another big thing is drone. Almost every exhaust out there in the 1000-3000 range drone is really annoying. I was really skeptical on exhaust since its a BMWs and it has a nice in cabin feeling and the car just feels nice overall. I have been looking for exhaust since i got the car but haven't seen any with nice black tips and also with 304 SS. A couple of months ago I don't remember how i went into MadDad exhaust page and saw the street series for the 135i.They looked really nicely finished and the company looks like a solid one that will be there for a long time. I decided to get the exhaust with the black coated ceramic tips. These exhaust let me tell you the finish on them is impeccable. They came really well packaged. The exhaust got installed by myself in my garage. I was straight forward, it took me about an hour. After the install I turn on the car and holy sh%$^&&%$t. This thing sounds badass. Just like the videos posted on youtube. It has a nice louder sound than stock all the time but the sound in cabin is not annoying. That drone range that all aftermarket exhaust suffer from is not present in this exhaust system at all. From 1000-3400 the car sound growly like mad man. But after that the thing transforms into another car the sound just gets higher and higher it is just awesome. I have had the exhaust since wednesday that 3 days and let me tell you if anyone buys one of these, they will be so happy they'll just wanna drive to nowhere to hear the exhaust sound. Its !ORGASMIC! I will put some pictures below of the exhaust installed. Thanks Rich and all the MadDad company. The pics are crappy since they are taken with the phone camera so when i wash the car ill get my good camera and post some more pics. |

I really enjoyed your review, I'm impressed maddad were able to produce zero drone for the street series. Are you able to record a video?
Also, the M badge needs to go |

Thanks to everyone that likes them. In regards to the silencer question, no it is just pipes and then the tips. I will show you a picture of the full exhaust without them being installed. they look like this. The thing sounds a little louder inside the car than stock. but at higher velocity like cruising, it is not annoying at all.

Thanks man, Yeah they said a quad exhaust its going to be the tips just like these but in a quad arrangement and also they said also they would sell carbon fiber diffuser with the two wholes and the normal one with cutouts.
And for those who don't like the M badge understandable but please keep it to yourself if you don't like it just say to yourself dam this guy has bad taste I understand that people don't like it but I went to germany about 3 years ago when the 1 series was about to make its debut in USA and they had in the BMW section in the frankfurt autoshow a 135i and it said on the back 1 series M coupe so I liked it. So please if you dint like it understandable but keep it to yourself please, unless you really have to say it looks bad or loose it. Thanks |

I was skeptical that Maddad really managed to eliminate drone in a straight pipe exhaust until I read this. I have a feeling that I will get one eventually. It looks great.

TO ONER, it is a BMW PERFORMANCE CARBON FIBER DIFFUSER. I have not seen the quality of the icarbon one but it should be good. This one is very good but it is also very expensive, it was $1300 dollars with discount.
TO WONER, thanks, and yeah man this thing now sounds pissed. the car transformed totally. there is zero hint of drone throughout the entire RPM band and also at any cruising speed. the exhaust is great and the sound is intoxicating. I will soon post some videos of inside and drivebys. |

TO DCHO:
this thing sounds I would say more aggressive in terms of deepness compared to AA. I can asure you this because I life in SOFLO and I went down to active before I bought the MadDad. The AA have a great build quality but they were chrome they look nice but I like the Black ceramic coated tips more and the sound of the MadDad. Their build quality is perfect the welds the finish everything about the exhaust is truly great. |

Look, When yo take your foot of the gas the burble is ridiculous and I don't have mid pipes or downpipes. The burble man is like a growling small V8. It burbles all the time its great. And also fitment was my biggest issue since I have the BMW Carbon fiber diffuser and the hole for the exhaust is smaller than the plastic one I thought they were going to be not aligned but the fittment is perfect. I did not have to move anything. I just installed the exhaust and installed the diffuser and everything went together flawlessly. The build quality is great and fittment is just like OE. i had to make no adjustments whatsoever to anything. Give me time this week I will post some videos. |
