M Sport Kit vs Aerodynamic Kit
Okay the M sport kit states that it includes the Aerodynamic kit; however, pictures of it installed show it to be just the normal sports package...
I need clarification if you can get the legit Aerodynamic package under performance parts on BMW's website installed on a new 128i rather than the basic sports package which I believe is included in the M-sports package. What is the difference? So much confusion... I like the fake air ducts on the side skirts and front grill with the air ducts which is whats shown on the "real aerodynamic package" Last edited by Satalite; 12-28-2010 at 01:14 PM.. |

If you get M-Sport, you'll get the same body kit as the 135i. Otherwise you won't. The Performance front bumper and side skirts are different and not available as part of a package. You could probably order them as port-installed options and save some money vs. having the dealer do it later, however, and I reckon they could roll the cost into your monthly payments.

Yah I had a quote for a full Aero kit priced at 3675$ for parts, paint, labor, install.... Might as well trade in and order a new 1 series with that!

That seems high. according to this (http://accessories.bmwusa.com/ItemVi...&productId=985) United BMW will sell the kit installed for $2010.98 plus tax. Where's your quote from?

I don't know - it says "Installed Price." Presumably they don't install unpainted body kits...but I don't know how accurate that site is. Might want to give United a call, though.
EDIT: Okay, that site must not be accurate, because it claims Global Imports will do the job for ~$1740. |

I would bet paint is not included. My skirts alone (purchased from United) painted and installed by my local BMW shop were close to $650.
