Pilot Sport Cup 2

I am currently in possession of a new set of these. Standard sizes of 265/35 & 245/35.

My concern is that I appear to have bought those without a rim protection edge. The protection isn't what bothers me, as I don't have a vagina. What I'm a little worried about is that, given the stretch on the 1M rims, these new boots may look stupidly low profile.

Do I need to be concerned? Cheers.

Not unless you are expecting to sprout a vagina anytime soon. LOL
Low profile looks good-shows off the wheels nicely- until they get curbed,,,.

Ha! Thanks for the reassurance. I guess I'll find out in a few days anyway. Now I just need to find a nice safe place to strip the last few millimetres of tread from the rears.

Great choice of tyre, you'll love them.

Here's how mine sit.

Cool as.

Thanks very much for the pic. I'm still waiting for my fronts to be delivered before I go ahead and get them all fitted.

For thread completion, I've had them fitted now, and they are indeed immense tyres.

They also look great without the rim protection edge. More 'Motorsport' if you will.

Chuffed.

Impressions? Any comparisons to the usual PSS replacements?
