PCD without the \"D\" Question

If you wanted to do a PCD but buy a BMW off the lot can you get the \"Performance Center Experience\" piece of the PCD without delivery of vehicle to Spartansburg as a part of the sale?

I think I remember reading that you can pay $150 for a mini version of the PCD. You don't even have to own a BMW for this mini version. It was featured on the Bimmer Post front page a few months back. I am not sure IF you can do the "full" PCD experience IF you do not do ED.

Anyone know for sure?

sorry for maybe not entirely addressing the question, but why don't you want to simply take delivery at the center? i've been offered to have an off-the-lot car sent there for PCD, but i don't know if you can buy it off the lot and drive it down yourself (short of this mini experience dackelone is referring to above).

ED and PCD are mutually exclusive. You can do a full PCD without doing ED.

I dont know what a mini PCD consists of, perhaps its just eliminating the delivery portion in which case I think ED customers get the mini PCD because we dont need to be rebriefed on the cars features.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I was going to call but wondered if anyone else had tried this. I called the BMW Performance Center today and the answer was you do not get the complimentary PCE if you buy a car off the lot. You must pay $149 bucks per person to get the tour and pro driver training.
