Reset Service Overdue indicator

Hello, I have just had my 2011 serviced by my local mechanic. He tells me he has been unable to reset the service overdue
And brake indicator. Can someone please let me know how?

That only works if the car will let you. Mine has an appointment at the dealer tomorrow to get them shut off. Irritating as hell.
