front bumper removal

I have the guide for 1 series front bumper removal - assuming it is probably pretty similar on the 1M? Any experience with removal and advice for me?

Thank you.

Ethan,

I have taken mine off, it is pretty straight forward, there are a bunch of 10mm bolts on the bottom, 4 torx bolts on the top.Once you take all of those off, the bumper has tabs on the top corners that clip into black plastic receivers. Be carful with those, they look easy to snap. I used an old credit card to depress the wedge bit on the tab and it slid out with a little pulling. I took some photos, I'll see if I can find them for you.

Ethan,

Here are the pictures, I have higher res if you want just ask. The other thing to keep in mind are the headlight cleaners, they have connectors where you pull the blue plastic cir-clips and they come apart, just be ready for them to leak the residual fluid.

As you can see from the photo with the bumper partially off, I put a blanket on the floor to rest the bumper cover on. The side clips are the trickiest part (and they are not that bad if you take your time)

Best of luck!
