Yes, have them change your oil out, don't wait. They need to use a LL-01 approved oil. There are no 10W-30 oils that are LL-01 approved. Who changed your oil? Need to use a 5w-30/5w-40 or 0w-30/0w-40 oil. Don't just use any synthetic 5w-30 either.

The correct Mobil 1 (only one acceptable to BMW) is the European 0-40W. I get it at Walmart in 5 qt containers for about $25.
