I'm familiar w/ cars in general, have even rebuilt engines. But not so familiar w/ exhaust systems, especially the 135i's.

Do you have any diagrams of the factory setup (setups that is, N54 & N55) and an indication of what part(s) these replace? Curious where they fit in the system.

Also CEL's - what can be expected with these installed, if anything?

Downpipes are #1 and #2 in the diagram below. They are the biggest bang for the buck in terms of exhaust mods as they replace the restrictive catalytic converters to free up the exhaust flow. N55 engines are similar except that there is only one huge downpipe instead of two as in the N54.

As for the cel, aftermarket tuning companies are able to get rid of them should you choose to go catless.

I am looking to purchase the berk DP but i have a few questions. Just some info, my 135 is all stock except for the berk full sport exhaust. 1. Will i need a tune in order for my car not to throw codes? 2. will i need any special sensors to fit into the bung holes? 3. how much is the berk DP?

if you could please PM an answer to those questions i would appreciate it cuz i rarely remember to come back to the thread to check. thaNKS!
