Does Taupe top 'vert look more Gray or Tan ?
Has anyone taken delivery of a 128i or 135i convertible with the taupe top? Does it look more gray or tan ? I've just ordered a Crimson Red 135i 'vert w/taupe top. But today I drove to a (closed on sunday) dealer and saw one w/ a taupe top from a distance (behind the dealer's fence!). I was hoping for Tan.....but it looked gray to me (albeit:from a distance). I'm thinking of switching the order to a black top now....!:iono:

Maybe you saw the Moonlight top. It is supposed to have silver/gray shimmer too it in the sunlight. Not having seen one in person I can't say for sure though.
People have commented that the taupe interior looks more gray than tan. If the taupe top is the same shade as the taupe interior then it may look gray. |
