My latest carbon fiber addition (rear difuser)
I was finally able to installed my $1400 cosmetic addition to my 135i and I am extremely happy with the results. I took some before and after pictures to add to my photo collection.
first shot is unboxing the diffuser getting it ready. this thing is insanely light. here's a shot of the stock diffuser already removed and ready for the new look. the stock diffuser was kind of a pain to remove but I was able to do it with no harm to either the diffuser itself or the car. thank God..... and $1400 later, the finished project. I like it! :w00t:

oh yes.... my car has always gotten lots of comments and attention but now it's even more. my BMW salesman told me my car doesn't even look like an 135i anyone. he said it's starting to look like an M3. lol

I love the CF diffuser...but jeez...the price is crazy. I really wonder what is taking the aftermarket so long to replicate this thing for a decent price....

Very nice indeed!
I've been thinking of getting one of these. Does it come with instructions showing the location of the bolts etc? How long did it take to fit? Cheers Jack |

Seems like a great waste of money, but to each their own. You could have bought ecu tuning, dp's or suspension that actually do something, and I'm a fan of CF.

I'd say it is easy to justify the money when it looks that good on red. I spent a ton putting a JDM front end on my STi but it made it look different from everyone else's and made me smile whenever I walked up to it. Splurging on cosmetics is ok when done in concert with performance upgrades. He's got some really light wheel on there, after all. Looks great, now finish it off with a cf grill and debadge! |
