2010+ Model CF Mirrors

Hey guys

Just wondering if anyone here has purchased a set of CF mirror covers for the 2010/2011 model mirrors? I am very interested in getting a set, but don't really want to go through the dealer. They quoted me $600 each or $1,200 for a set!!! I don't know what the going price is in the US or UK, but I have a feeling $600 is a bit excessive...

Anyone with experience, contacts, or know of a supplier, your help would be much appreciated!

Cheers

$1200!!! need to re finance just for mirror covers. I had them on my last 135 but the car came that way from the dealer so I am not much use on this one. vivid seem to be selling them for the $600 mark but that's not including shipping and I agree that even $600 is a bit excessive.

Yeh tell me about it... I just looked on the vivid site and it looks like the mirror covers offered are only for the 2008-2009 models? There a few sites selling the earlier CF mirror covers, but I still haven't seen any sites stocking the new 2010+ dumbo ear CF mirrors

There is a company in the states called ICarbon, they seem to make really good quality parts at a fair price, also there is an e-bay seller called Directparts4u Auto World who sell a whole list of German grade carbon fiber parts for all BMW"s, these guys are also worth a look.

Oh yeh my bad, I had a quick look at the iCarbon thread but I think that might be 2008 - 2009 models also. They were priced at about $350usd ex delivery though which seems more reasonable.

Oh so iCarbon are offering the CF mirror covers for 2010+ models? If so thats awesome, ill definitely be putting my name down for the GB! I have previously browsed over their site and could only find the older mirror covers in CF.

The BMW CF caps are really nice. In the US they aren't that expensive. I think under $500 for the pair. Here are some pics from a 123d I saw recently with the BMW CF parts.

Yeah they look awesome, will go well with the iCarbon diffuser which is currently on its way. I was hoping that I could source them from the US somewhere as the exchange rate atm is looking pretty sweet...
