Factory options you reckon are a waste of money

Logic 7 also came standard, but I am not impressed with it. The standard system in my wife's Merc C230 is much better. It might be OK for classical, or other lower volume music, but for rock it sucks.

Wow I think he was just being sarcastic.

As for a worthless option... what about the standard OEM floor mats.. Those things started falling apart in a couple of weeks for me (sheding like hell) and I always got my heal caught on them when using the clutch.. Bought a set of rubber matts for the front and they look a WORLD better and much easier to keep clean. A little soap and some tire shine and they are all good.

Actually there are no standard floor mats.....they are a "purchased"

Everything is purchased! I ment the standard floormats you can get from BMW that are listed at something like $110. Most dealers seem to throw the mats in for "free" (yea free mats with a $40K car...

) but its still an option. Those are worthless.
