Yellowing of titanium (Akrapovic)
Those of you with the Akrapovic slip-on or Evo, how are you maintaining the exhaust look? I'm not very fond of the carbon fiber tips on the VO, but I do love the titanium tips but I would hate to see them turn yellow over time.
Is there anything we can do to keep that fresh silver look? |

Its probably the single most expensive mod to our cars so I'm trying to see what issues there are if I'm going to drop that much cash on it. I know some people had issues with fitment and some didn't. I KNOW I'm going to be one of those unlucky people that will end up with issues with the diffuser! You're gonna get the CF tips, have lots of fun with it and never be required to spend time on cleaning the internal part of the exhaust tips anymore. It makes you lazy. Mine are all beautifully black on the inside (and it suits them very well) and CF on the outside. Just a quick pass with a towel over it to wipe the dust/dirt away from the outside CF part and it's "pronto, baby". So bite the bullet and get the Akra axle back with CF tips.

I got a recent unit and it fit perfectly. Everything on the unit was beautiful. Its leagues above other exhausts in craftsmanship and materials. Its costly, but you can see what you are paying for when you get it. I think once you get one, drive it, and you earn that bronze finish, you will like it. |

Sourced and fitted last Friday by the guys at Projex. Awesome job by the guys and would highly recommend. Special thanks to Ben for fitting www.projexuk.com
Was a bit concerned at previous reviews, however had no fitting issue whatsoever and the wireless option just finishes off what is an awesome system. One happy boy |

Looks awesome. I'm saving up to do the same next summer. Undecided on carbon fiber or titanium tips.
Out of curiosity, what was the price for install? |

I am UK based and the install was £300. It took less than an hour to change the exhaust system, it's the wireless fitting that's time consuming and adds to install cost.....definitely worth it though.
