For those who run Race Seats, please chime in
I'm trying to grasp what seats can and cannot fit into my 128i
I've been thinking Recaro Profi SPG or a Sparco EVO 2...but it appears the Sparco EVO 2 does not fit. I'm 6'1", 180-185, and 34" waist. Any suggestions are welcomed. And if people know the exact measurements I should aim for (like max shoulder width or base) that would be helpful! Thanks in advance! |

Well, with talking with Mike and VAC, it appears the Momo Super Cup and Cobra Suzuka Pro-Fit have fit from their testing.
As well, from another forum member the Recaro PP do indeed fit. So, starting to get somewhere. Still would like to hear from others. |

I cant give you exact measurements but Recaro Profi SPG, SPA and pole positions fit.
I have profi SPA's in my car and there is plenty of room. Everfly has Pole positions and they fit fine. |

Do you have any shots of your SPAs installed? Just curious. Everfly was able to send me some shots of the PP already. |

I would get the spg over the pole positions if tracking is your main goal. The spg are deeper and hold better. |

I'm surprised the Evo 2 didn't fit. Was it too tight at the hips/legs? Shoulder harness holes too low? Too wide at the shoulders?
Like I said in my PM, I' 5'10" 190-195 and I fit in the Evo 2 fine. |

I ran a couple of racetech seats in mine with no issue. 4009W's to be exact. The regular 4009's would fit no issue. Very very comfy seat.

Does that depend on the width of the Evo2? I have 15" and they are quite narrow. I've had then in my Cosworth Vega SCCA race car for awhile and it is way narrower than the 1

Again, this is from my research. If someone can prove me wrong I would be more than happy because I really like the Evo 2 |

When I was shopping around for seats, the shop owner actually let me test fit the Cobra Suzuka and Imola's in my car. I just removed my seats and stuck them in the car. I didn't bolt them in as I didn't have adapters or sliders but with just the side mounts it fit pretty well.
